So I downloaded a free book for use with Ruby. Would this pretty much cover the entire Scripting concept for RPG maker, or is there more?

@MotionM: There's always more. If you need to find a function/class in ruby you must learn to search. They can't explain all of them in a book. That'll teach you what you need to know about it and give you the key for future use of functions/classes you did'nt learned. RPG Maker is RGSS programmation. They have their own functions/classes added on the original ruby.

If you want to access the RPG Maker functions and classes, whe you open the program, pres F1. After, check for the index section. If what you are searching for is not there, you must search inside the script editor by pressing Ctrl+F. As I said, RGSS is an add-on for ruby so yes, there's a little database for it, in the help contents.

I used/studied it since a year but, stop during about 3 months for school. I just understood it really fast. You should not compare your learning speed to me because sometimes, people are disappointed by how fast I can learn.

Common people have 1TB of memory. I have 10TB.
Ok, I'll stop that kind of jokes and stay humble.

It depends on how focused I am, and how many examples I can understand during it. If I'm shown how and if I can see a working result, then it helps me learn faster, if that makes any sense at all.
